Erri de Luca are insa<br \/>\nuna din cele mai plastice descrieri ale acestui masochism social in<br \/>\nromanul <b>Montedidio<\/b> (preluata din povestirile populare napoletane ) :<\/p>\n<p>Un caine linge o pila. Pila este aspra si ii distruge pielea. Cainelui i<br \/>\n se umple gura de sange. Gustul sangelui este insa placut cainelui<br \/>\ninfometat care continua sa linga pila desi durerea creste. Cu cat linge<br \/>\nmai tare cu atat mai mult sange ii umple gura dar si durerea este mai<br \/>\nmare.
