Epiphanios <\/b>– \u00cempotriva ereziilor, ( III,2,9,- DDG, pag 592,21) afirma cu t\u0103rie c\u0103 :
„Stoicul Zenon din Kition spunea c\u0103 zeilor nu trebuie s\u0103 li se construiasc\u0103 templu, ci divinul trebuie p\u0103strat doar \u00een spirit,sau, mai cur\u00e2nd, spiritul ar trebui considerat zeu; c\u0103ci este nemuritor.”<\/p>\n

Cu siguran\u021b\u0103 c\u0103 unui Creator de lumi nu po\u021bi s\u0103 ii ridici un templu c\u0103ci el este at\u00e2t omniprezent, omipotent c\u00e2t \u0219i transsubstantial. Fiecare un miracol incomprehensibil mintii umane. Templul \u00eens\u0103 este locul de retragere din lume al credinciosului, locul de organizare, \u00een privat, a procesiunii \u0219i, mai ales, locul \u00een care \u00een\u021belep\u021bii pot aduce cunoa\u0219tere novicilor.
\n\u00centr-o situa\u021bie ideal\u0103 templul Zeului ar fi peste tot \u0219i, \u00een special, \u00een tot. P\u00e2n\u0103 atunci \u00eens\u0103 Templu ajut\u0103.  Mai ales c\u00e2nd Zeul pare s\u0103 dispar\u0103 din g\u00e2ndurile creatiilor lui.<\/p>\n

Epiphanios – Against Heresies, (III, 2.9, – DDG, pp. 592.21) strongly affirmed that:
„Kition Stoic of Kition said that the gods should not be built a temple, but the divine should be kept only in spirit, or rather, the spirit should be considered a god, for it is immortal.”<\/p>\n

Certainly you can not raise a temple to a World Creator because he is so omnipresent, omnipotent as well as transsubstantial. Every miracle incomprehensible to the human mind. The temple, however, is the place of the believer’s world retreat, the place of organization, privately, of the procession, and especially the place where wise men can bring knowledge to novices.<\/p>\n

In an ideal situation God’s temple would be everywhere and especially in everything. Until then, however, the Temple helps. Especially when the God seems to disappear from the thoughts of his creations.<\/p>\n
